After selecting the type of assessment you require, you are ready to begin your Fire Risk Assessment (FRA). The FRA Wizard app will guide you through the assessment, one section at a time, ensuring a thorough and compliant evaluation of fire safety risks.
Navigation and Input #
- Radio Buttons and Dropdowns: Each section presents questions that can be answered by selecting options from radio buttons and dropdowns. It’s important to answer each field to the best of your knowledge to ensure the accuracy of your assessment.
- Help Buttons and Chatbot: If you need assistance or clarification while completing the assessment, look for the help buttons located throughout the app. Our chatbot feature (currently in beta) provides instant information and support.
Saving your Progress #
- Save Anytime: You can save your progress at any point during the assessment. This allows you to take breaks and return to your assessment without losing data.
Recommendations #
- Automatic Recommendations: As you progress through your assessment, the platform automatically generates recommendations based on your responses. These recommendations will appear in a new section titled ‘Recommendations’. They are designed to help you complete your assessment and maintain compliance with fire safety regulations. Recommendations can be edited if required.
Adjustments and Compliance #
- One-Year Adjustment Period: You may adjust your fire risk assessment for one year after completion. This flexibility allows you to update your evaluation to achieve and maintain compliance.
Adding Additional Images #
- Additional Images: You can add further images at the end of the report. This feature can provide visual evidence or highlight specific areas of concern within your assessment.
Supporting Documents #
- Attachment of PDFs: In the final section, ‘Supporting Documents’, you can attach ready-made PDF documents. These documents can serve as additional evidence or provide further details to support your risk assessment.
Completing and Sharing Your Assessment #
- Download or Share: Once your assessment is complete, you can download it as a PDF document or use a share link to send the report directly to your client or colleagues via email. This ensures that relevant parties can easily access the assessment findings and recommendations.
Following these steps, you can comprehensively assess fire safety risks and implement necessary measures to ensure compliance and protect occupants. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to use our help features or contact our support team.
